Since it was founded in 1914 by Karl Matthias Reich, HOLZ-HER has been active on an international level. Its first product consisted of wire goods. From the start, it manufactured these goods using machines and exported a large amount of its goods around the world. The basis for the present success of the company was its decision to specialize in stationary woodworking machines for trade and industry. To this end, the legally, financially and organizationally independent group of companies HOLZ-HER was set up in 1983.
